The reverse of adding days, this calculator subtracts a chosen number of days from a given date to find what date it was that many days earlier — handy for working backwards from a deadline to find a start date, or from an event to check when preparations needed to begin.
Like its counterpart, it counts plain calendar days rather than working days, so the result will include weekends within the span. Leap years are handled automatically, so a subtraction crossing 29 February in either direction still lands on the correct date.
